Full Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide, briefed about your upcoming journey and transferred to your lodge. We feel it's best to stay in Entebbe after your flight, the last thing you want to do after a long flight is going on another long car journey. If you arrive early there are many excursions available, and great places to eat. Ask your regional expert for more information.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale
After your breakfast, you will spend the day transferring to the national park rich western Uganda, starting with Kibale Forest National Park, stopping on the way for lunch. You should arrive in the afternoon to take in the natural beauty of this area.

Day 3: Chimp Tracking
Today you get the chance to get up close and personal with man's closest relative, the Chimpanzee. These special Apes are a joy to watch as they go about their daily lives, squabbling and playing in the fruit trees. Upon sighting the Chimps, you will stay with them for one hour. After lunch, you will transfer to the Rwenzori mountains and to Trekkers Hostel, the base for all hikes in the ‘mountains of the moon!'

Day 4-9: Rwenzori Hike to Weismanns Peak (4620m)
Your guided hike will be provided by Rwenzori Trekking Services, and this is their most popular hike. It’s a real physical challenge, but not so technical that it requires ropes. The ‘mountains of the moon’ are a treat for the eyes and a challenge for the body. Climbing Africa’s highest mountain range should be on every hiker's bucket list! There are several different hikes available in the Rwenzori’s, from 1 to 10-day trips, each of varying technical and physical difficulty. When you are tailor-making this tour with us, we can find the right option for you.
Meals Included: During the hike, all meals are included in the cost.
Accommodation: The accommodation in the mountains is basic, usually huts and small dormitories. Included as well is a night’s stay at Trekkers hostel at the end of your hike.
Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning, you will make the two and a half-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth NP. Before heading out in the afternoon to see the excellent game and birdlife on offer there. Queen boasts 4 of the 'Big 5' along with plenty of other big games and Uganda's longest bird list, standing at an impressive 600 different species.

Day 11: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Head out in the morning to enjoy the magnificent game on offer in Queen, including 4 of the 'Big 5', many other big game animals and the vast array of birds that live within the park. In the afternoon, you will enjoy one of Uganda's great wildlife experiences, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where you can see a vast array of wildlife playing and taking a water break along the shore. The Kazinga channel is thought to have the highest density of hippos anywhere in the world!

Day 12: Jinja
Today you will drive north to Jinja, the adventure capital of East Africa and the perfect place to chill out after your hectic hike and safari. There are tons of activities to do in Jinja, like horse riding, bungee jumping, quad biking, mountain biking to name but a few, but it is also a great place to chill out and soak up some sun by the river Nile.

Day 13: Grade 5 White Water Rafting!
This will surely be one of the highlights of your trip, Grade 5 white water rafting the river Nile. You will battle the currents, waterfalls and raging torrents for a full day on this unforgettable experience.

Day 14: Jinja
Your last full day in Uganda is completely free to do as you choose. Whether it does one of the many activities available or just chill out in the sun.

Today we will provide a transfer back to the airport for a time of your choosing. Depending on the time of your flight, there may be enough time for another activity in Jinja.
