Kibale Forest National Park

 

Overview:

 

Dense forest cover, interspersed with grasslands and swamps, make Kibale one of the most varied and rewarding national parks in Uganda. Kibale is home to 70 mammal species, famously including Chimpanzees and 12 other species of primate, and over 375 bird species.

Location:

 

Located in Wester Uganda, Kibale is around 2hours 30mins north of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and around 4-5 hours’ drive from Kampala/Entebbe.
