Full Itinerary:
 
Day 1: Arrive in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, You will be met by your guide, briefed about your upcoming journey and transferred to your lodge. We feel it's best to stay in Entebbe after your flight. If you arrive early there are many excursions available and great places to eat. Ask your regional expert for more information.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park
You'll set off in the morning heading towards the magnificent Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you'll stop off at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you'll get to walk alongside the endangered and awe-inspiring Southern White Rhino. After grabbing some lunch at Ziwa you will set off again towards Murchison. If you have time in the evening, you will go for a game drive, or visit the top of the falls before checking into your lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Nile Boat Safari
Spend the morning on a game drive taking in Murchison's breath-taking wildlife and scenery, including 4 of the 'Big 5', with only rhino missing. In the afternoon you will embark on a boat cruise to see one of the planets great sights, Murchison Falls themselves, where the mighty Nile river squeezes through a 7m wide gorge creating what is said to be the worlds most powerful water flow and the trademark rainbow. During this three hour cruise, you will also get to see the fantastic array of wildlife on the river bank, and get the opportunity to take a walk to the top of the falls themselves.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale
Today you will take the long drive down from Murchison to the National Park rich south, starting at Kibale Forest NP. Although the drive is long (approx 8 hours) the views are spectacular! It is possible to split the journey over two days if you prefer, stopping at Lake Albert or Hoima town, our regional experts can talk you through your options.

Day 5: Chimp Tracking
Today you get the chance to get up close and personal with man's closest relative, the Chimpanzee. These special apes are a joy to watch as they go about their daily lives, squabbling and playing in the fruit trees. Upon sighting the Chimps, you will stay with them for one hour. In the afternoon you have the option of going on the Bigodi swamp walk, searching for rare and exciting birds, and taking in more of the African Jungle.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning you will make the two and a half-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth NP. Before heading out in the afternoon to see the excellent game and birdlife on offer there. Queen boasts 4 of the 'Big 5' along with plenty of other big game, and Uganda's longest bird list, standing at an impressive 600 different species.

Day 7: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Head out in the morning to enjoy the magnificent game on offer in Queen. In the afternoon, you will enjoy one of Uganda's great wildlife experiences, the Kazinga Channel boat cruise, where you can see a vast array of wildlife playing and taking a water break along the shore.

Day 8: Game Drive and Bwindi
Grab a packed lunch from your lodge and spend the day winding south through Queen, where you will get the chance to see the tree-climbing lions that have made this national park so famous. Your eventual destination is Bwindi Impenetrable national park where you should arrive in the evening just in time to take in the breathtaking views of the mountains and the dense forest.

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast, you will set off towards what will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your safari, the unforgettable experience that is Mountain Gorilla tracking. After trekking through the dense forest to where the Gorillas were found the day before, you begin your tracking, searching for the largest primate in the world. Upon sighting, you will stay with them for one hour as they eat, rest and bond with their young. To reach them it can take anywhere between 30 mins to 4 hours, so be prepared for a long trek through the humid rainforest. Afterwards, you will spend the afternoon relaxing and taking in your beautiful surroundings.

Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi
After enjoying your lunch overlooking Bwindi, you will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which offers beautiful views and is the perfect place to slow down the pace and relax after your Gorilla tracking. Your lodge boasts an excellent menu for you to choose from in the evening.

Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park
Spend the morning relaxing at the beautiful lake Bunyonyi before transferring to Lake Mburo National, stopping for lunch on the way, arriving at the park just in time for an evening game drive. Lake Mburo has a much more relaxed feel than the other parks in Uganda and there are far fewer tourists, which makes it the perfect place to end your safari.

Day 12: Boat Safari/Nature Walk and Back to Entebbe
On your last day in Uganda, you have the option of whether you would like to go for a boat cruise on the lake itself or go for a bushwalk to see the wildlife at no extra cost. If it's your kind of thing then you can even go horse riding or mountain biking alongside the grazing zebra and buffalo but for an additional cost ($30). In the afternoon transfer back to Entebbe for your evening flight home.
