Lake Mburo National Park
Overview:
Lake Mburo is Uganda’s smallest savanna national park, but it's still well worth a visit for the activities you don’t get in other savanna national parks. Home to leopards, zebras, various antelope/impala species, hippo, hyena and many more, as well as over 360 bird species.

Located neatly about halfway between Bwindi and Kampala/Entebbe, Lake Mburo is the perfect place to stop on your way back to the airport after Gorilla Tracking.

A handful of accommodation is available from mid-range and up, though there is nothing really yet for the budget traveller.
