Our First Covid Relief Support | Gallery

I would like to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who donated, we have been overwhelmed by the generosity and empathy people have shown even in these most challenging times. The response we had was truly humbling.

We managed to get basic supplies to 52 incredibly grateful families. These supplies were much needed. Hearing stories of people going hungry due to the covid situation and its far reaching effects (read more about that here) has been breaking our hearts.

Largely thanks the the money raised, we were able to supply 300kg of posho (a maze flour porridge which is an Ugandan staple), 120kg of beans, 100kg of rice, a bar of soap to every family and set up a hand washing station in the community.

Richard (our director) invited those most in need to his family home to collect supplies. For those who could not carry their own, we sent a motorbike to drop supplies where possible and in cases where there is no road access, and they were unable to carry the supplies themselves, we carried it directly to their homes.

We received a huge amount of gratitude and we would like to pass that straight on to those who donated and helped spread the word about what we are doing.

But unfortunately this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many more communities we would like to reach and make supply drops a regular thing. For that we need your help. If you are able to, it would be hugely appreciated if you could donate anything you can afford.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Take a look at the photos and videos underneath of our first (hopefully of many) supply drops.
