Accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Mid-Range
Bush Lodge
This lodge is made up of Banda's which are large and for the price; very comfortable. Surrounded by the national park, and right next to the Kazinga Channel, this lodge has a fantastic location and you can often hear the sounds of nearby hippo's and hyenas. This a fantastic lodge considering the price and owned by the well respected Nature Lodges, so the service is also of a high qulity.
Luxury
Mweya Safari Lodge
This lodge is in the area between mid-range and luxury. It is extremely comfortable and has a luxurious feel to it, with a fantastic view of the Kazinga Channel. However this lodge has a more large resort feel to it rather than the other, more intimate safari lodges.
Jungle Lodge
Another lodge that operates inbetween mid-range and luxury, but this lodge is in the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth. Around ten minutes drive from the park entrance and set amongst an area of trees near the river, this is a quiet peaceful lodge with excellent service. The rooms are large, comfortable cottages well spaced from echother. An excellent option if you wish to spend an extra night in Queen.
Katara Lodge
This lodge is located around 20 minutes from the park entrance, set on the hillside to make the most of the spectacular views of Queen Elizabeth. Made up of 7 very luxurious thatched cottages for you to sleep in and a fantastic bar area for you to enjoy the views, this is a quite fantastic lodge and usually the one we reccomment to our luxury clients.
Kyambura Gorge Lodge
Converted from an old coffee processing plant, this is the most luxurious lodge in northern Queen. You get amazing views and a quality service that few lodges can match. Built with the surroundings and environment in mind, this is the lodge you choose of it is the utmost luxury that you want.
Ishasha Wilderness Camp
By far the most luxurious lodge in the Ishasha sector and a hefty price to show it. Located in the park itself, with all of the private canvas cottages situated by the river. With 'bush' breakfasts and sundowners within the park itself, this lodge offers the 'bush' experience but in extreme luxury.
