Ruzizi Tented Lodge
Ruzizi is made up of 9 large tents which means the lodge is quiet and intimate. Located on the shores of lake Ihema the lodge offers great views and is the perfect base for your safari in Akagera. This lodge was built from local materials and tries to be eco-friendly wherever possible. If you are looking for a luxury option in Akagera then you can stay in Ruzizi's luxury tree top tent.
Akagera Game Lodge
Located on a ridge at the outskirts of the national park, the best thing about this lodge is the views. It is quite a large lodge so has more a resort feel to it rather than your more traditional safari lodges, but has plent of facilities with both a swimming pool and tennis court. We would not normally recommend this lodge for our clients, but at a third of the price of Ruzizi, it is n option well worth considering.
